a new bistro beer joint with fantastic, great priced food right in beautiful West Milwaukee. Less than a mile from Miller Park, it's a great location to stop before or after the game, or during the year! Celebrating local with all WI beers on tap!

Profile Information

About Me:
I am co-owner of Alcoholmanac Magazine. I would be hard pressed to find an aspect of the social pheomenon that is alcohol that I don't appreciate (other than the abuse or overconsumption of alcohol, but then again that is not an aspect of the drink, but the person consuming said drink). I love food, wine, beer, spirits, cordials and, most of all, people. I live my life by the philosophy that the world would be a better place if we would all just sit down with one another, share a drink, and listen now and then.

When not delving into Milwaukee's extensive drinking culture, I teach guitar at Brass Bell music. I am a classically trained guitarist. I actually received a degree in classical guitar performance from UWM - yes, such a thing exists. I dabble in Flamenco guitar as well and can, of course, play rock and roll or virtually any other "popular music" piece.

On the rare (and I mean rare) ocassions that I actually get a chance to relax, my favorite thing in the world is to spend time with my wife and business partner, Angie.
Favorite Drink:
Gin and Lemonade with a splash of sour

Sorry for the Absence

Hey everyone,

I have to apologize for my absence here on BarFlies. I've been awfully busy with the daily running of this magazine to be posting regularly on here. I want to assure you all, however, that I will make a special effort to keep you all up to date with what we're up to here at Alcoholmanac Magazine and of any new experiences we may have had.

The first thing that I'd like to share is this: No doubt you've noticed that it is late April and we still haven't released our new issue. Well… Continue

I do everything from rock 2 hip hop, drum & bass, house, shit I think given a chance I could even do that cheap porno movie music! Lol! But seriously I can do it all & if I can't play it I got people who can! Like what U said about do a music thing 4 this site. I notice that in the mag when it was mentioning the East side bars it said nothing about the deep & rich music scene that breathes here in our city! So yes I would be happy 2 pertisipate in anything that has 2 do with exsposing the music scene we have here!

Hey Brian. Things are going great. I never got to really thank you for the opportunity of working at the Alcoholmanac. Since moving back I've been doing steady work at two newspapers and a martial arts magazine. Its been great. Hopefully I'll get around to coming back to MKE sometime this summer for a visit and we can do something. And congrats on you and Angie. When I first met you two I put Angie down in my phone as "Angie West" And Fowler corrected me saying "They're not married." My response, "They may as well be." So thanks for updating my contact list for me.
